Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain system safety processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Train and coach engineers on identifying and analyzing system safety risks
  • Work with systems engineering and subsystem responsible engineers to ensure safety and reliability requirements are met

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in system safety engineering or a related field
  • Experience with human-rated space systems is desired
