Salary Range
The compensation package for this position includes a salary range of $136,620-$191,268 for CA applicants, $125,235-$175,329 for CO applicants, and $136,620-$191,268 for WA applicants.

Job Description
This leadership role involves contributing to the development of spacecraft thermal control systems within a hardworking team of diverse engineers. Key responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring new Thermal Systems Engineers, managing direct reports' professional development, leading the development and management of Thermal IPT specifications and requirements, standardizing Thermal Systems Engineering approaches across Lunar missions, owning verification and validation of Thermal requirements, utilizing Systems Engineering tools, supporting and presenting at major gated reviews, and monitoring technical progress while communicating it to leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or similar, experience in generating requirements, decomposition, and analysis, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to build trust and maintain positive and professional relationships, and be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. Preferred qualifications include an M.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 2+ years of managing technical teams and/or leading functional groups, 8+ years of experience in thermal analysis for spacecraft systems, experience solving spacecraft engineering challenges, familiarity with agile project management, and experience in design and analysis of safety-critical systems.
