Operations Support Coordinator

Location: Amarillo, TX

Overview: This role is essential for providing assistance with corporate-level applications throughout the organization. The focus is on enhancing operational outcomes and processes, which includes the design, development, integration, and execution of daily operations, organizational frameworks, and technological solutions. This position fosters consistency and transformation by offering expertise and leadership to facilitate ongoing process enhancements and manage transitions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize monitoring tools proficiently and respond to alerts that may affect the operational environment.
  • Oversee automated batch processing systems to ensure compliance with established service levels.
  • Adhere to Problem and Escalation Management protocols, ensuring all issues are documented in the appropriate management systems.
  • Support and coordinate efforts during Severity Incidents, addressing communication challenges related to business duty manager-led situations.
  • As part of the operations team, respond to daily support inquiries related to operational issues.
  • Ensure that resolutions and documentation requirements are met while directing incidents to the appropriate teams for Root Cause Analysis.
  • Proactively identify, develop, and coordinate special projects in collaboration with operations leadership.
  • Evaluate and implement operational enhancements, track outcomes, and ensure that improvements are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Assess, upgrade, and enhance technical systems, collaborating with system owners to resolve issues and boost performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive process documentation for all applications, including customer interactions and vendor-led support challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all control center, emergency response, and dispatch processes, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate critical project elements to gain organizational support for the successful completion of improvement initiatives.
  • Design improvement projects that incorporate organizational and technological changes, effectively managing transitions and assisting others in navigating change.

Qualifications:

  • AS/AAS/BS in a relevant field, entry-level certifications from accredited institutions, or equivalent documented experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Operations, process management, and process improvement within IT Operations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in team leadership.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.
  • Experience in managing Customer Escalations.
