Asset Reliability Supervisor

Position: Asset Reliability Supervisor

Location: North Kansas City, MO.

Business Unit: Manufacturing Operations

Reports to: Senior Maintenance Manager

Primary Responsibilities

Ensure the dependability and accessibility of equipment and facilities assigned to the manufacturing site, employing the IPS management/Reliability system methodology.

Lead the planning and execution of reliability enhancement and capacity expansion initiatives within the specified area.

Control expenses and apply reliability methodologies to guarantee efficient execution of tasks with excellence, fulfilling minimum maintenance quality standards, and optimizing resource utilization.

Exhibit proficiency in overseeing key reliability and maintenance metrics, promoting personnel development, implementing operational routines, and nurturing an understanding of KPI management.

Supervise ongoing outsourced contracts and collaborate with procurement to establish new supplier partnerships.

Drive asset reliability initiatives, introducing innovative technologies or management strategies to prolong asset lifespan and reduce non-value-added activities. Utilize methodologies such as Six Sigma, Predictive/Proactive Analysis & Tools, RCM, FMEA, WCM Advanced Tools, and Digital Manufacturing.

Ensure safety compliance, adherence to budgetary targets, workforce skill enhancement, and manufacturing productivity while maintaining quality standards.

Main Deliverables:

Implement a structured and standardized maintenance management framework throughout the designated manufacturing site.

Act as a liaison between maintenance units or departments, coordinating resource allocation for task execution, including purchase orders, service agreements, and immediate procurement. This promotes enhanced synergy, resulting in reduced costs and capital expenditure.

Establish standardized protocols for technicians and predictive management within the department to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Industry Experience: Yes, experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, maintenance execution, and reliability tools management.
  • Functional Knowledge: Yes, foundational knowledge of electrical/mechanical equipment applied to machinery, equipment, and industrial processes, SAP-PM.
  • Key Skills: Proficiency in SAP-PM, implementation, and daily management.
  • Computer and Project Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Office Suite, Advanced SAP knowledge.
  • Languages: English, Spanish is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced understanding of programming, maintenance planning and control, world-class indicators (KPIs), root cause analysis tools, project management, and cost management, RCM, and FMEA.
