Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Rochelle. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and perform check-in/out procedures with a smile and a warm welcome.
- Follow all cash and credit card procedures required by hotel and brand standards to ensure accuracy and security.
- Check house count to determine available rooms for the day and review credit limit exception reports to ensure smooth operations.
- Update housekeeping room status and balance departments from daily activity reports to maintain a high level of service quality.
- Perform cashier shift changes and ensure cash is in balance to prevent discrepancies.
- Explain hotel promotional items to guests and provide them with information on hotel amenities, such as free breakfast, spa, fitness center, and voice mail.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints, offering alternate solutions when necessary.
- Demonstrate commitment to servicing guests by being hospitable and accommodating.
- Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- One year hospitality experience required.
- Customer service experience required.
- Experience handling cash and credit card procedures.
- Attention to detail and knowledge of hotel layout, amenities, and procedures.
- Knowledge of local geographic area, businesses, and services.
