Job Title: Front Desk Supervisor

At Silver Bay YMCA, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Guest Services Manager with the overall operation of the front desk, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Providing accurate information to guests regarding campus activities and company policies
  • Supervising and training front desk staff
  • Maintaining knowledge of Silver Bay's current rates, accommodations, and activities
  • Performing duties per daily routine and shut-down procedure list
  • Receiving, recording, and inputting membership and in-house transactions
  • Providing support to the Reservations Department and telephone operator
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the entire front desk operation
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Competence to meet, answer, and receive incoming calls in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Proficiency in technology and basic computer operation
  • Accuracy in handling money and record-keeping
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Professional telephone etiquette
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Salary:

$18.89-$22.68
