Job Summary:

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of the Guest Services team at Silver Bay YMCA. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, providing exceptional customer service to guests, and supervising a team of front desk staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operation of the front desk

Check guests in and out using hospitality software, maintaining accurate records and knowledge of Silver Bay's rates, accommodations, and activities

Provide accurate information to guests, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner

Maintain a cash drawer, balance transactions, and perform other duties as assigned by the Guest Services Manager

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of front desk operations

Effective communication and organizational skills, with ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in technology and basic computer operation, with accuracy in handling money and record-keeping

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and ability to lift up to 15 pounds
