Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and establish root cause and corrective action plans to address customer quality issues.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer communications regarding quality concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and satisfaction.
  • Lead production teams in swiftly identifying and resolving manufacturing process and product performance challenges that impact productivity and delivery timelines, utilizing a data-driven approach.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to one-piece flow and manufacturing bottlenecks to enhance productivity and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external suppliers to guarantee that all materials comply with design and quality standards.
  • Guide cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes for upcoming products.
  • Maintain and update production documentation, including standard operating procedures, ensuring adherence to established processes.
  • Provide insights on manufacturing process capabilities during the new product development phase.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence.
  • Assist production teams in identifying and mitigating potential safety risks.
  • Prioritize and manage Engineering Change Requests to facilitate ongoing product and process enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
  • 0-8 years of relevant work experience, including internships and co-op positions.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles in a production environment is preferred.
