Key Responsibilities

  • Handle commercial property claims from inception to closure, ensuring timely and fair resolution for our clients.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess property damage and gather evidence to support claims.
  • Communicate with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Review and analyze policy coverage, investigate claims, and negotiate settlements.
  • Maintain highly organized and detailed claims files, ensuring accurate and efficient claim processing.
  • Collaborate with our claims team to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in commercial property claims handling.

Requirements

  • Commercial property claims experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma required.
  • Ability to complete site inspections and travel to assess property damage.
  • Experience with Xactimate and Haag Certified preferred.
  • Multi-state experience and multiple lines of business a plus.
  • Must be a licensed adjuster and able to obtain licenses in other states.
  • Ability to be cross-trained to handle other lines of business.
  • Experience in handling fire, collapse, theft, and water damage claims.
  • Ability to handle and negotiate settlements on non-litigated and litigated claims.
  • 1-3 years of claims handling experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, virtual office environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
