Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

General Role Overview:

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will deliver a comprehensive suite of operational, analytical, and administrative HR services that align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and refine HR programs, processes, and policies to support various functional areas, including:
• Workforce planning and recruitment to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

• Employee development initiatives to address both current and future organizational needs.

• Compensation and benefits strategies that promote competitive advantages and align with the company's mission.

• Employee relations management to balance the needs and rights of both the employer and employees.

• Risk management practices to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the Company brand among employees and potential candidates.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on organizational culture and employee engagement to foster a motivated workforce.
  • Offer strategic insights on the human, organizational, and cultural implications of business decisions based on thorough analysis and current HR trends.
  • Monitor HR trends and legislative changes to ensure compliance and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience across multiple functional areas.
  • At least 2 years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Proven ability to develop and enhance HR programs using sound business acumen.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and its impact on HR practices.
  • Experience with HR operational policies and procedures across various functions.
  • Strong decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HRMS systems.
  • Established relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR within a technical manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR operational policies across all functions.
  • Success in managing HR functions in a high-growth, global engineering services organization.
  • Experience supporting a diverse workforce across multiple locations.
  • Expertise in workforce planning, employee development, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Ability to conduct predictive data analysis related to HR matters.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles.
  • Experience with Requisite Organization principles.
  • Familiarity with internet sourcing and applicant tracking systems.
  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP).
