Community Manager

Peak Living is seeking a highly skilled Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our tax credit communities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service and lease renewal rates.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise community associates and ensure compliance with tax credit requirements.
  • Support and participate in customer service and leasing standards.
  • Respond to resident requests promptly and provide solutions to resolve resident issues.
  • Direct marketing efforts and assist in preparing lease agreements.
  • Recommend rental rate adjustments and concessions to maximize revenue.
  • Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid fees and implement collection procedures.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including delinquency reports and utility tracking spreadsheets.
  • Direct resident activities, prepare newsletters, and maintain loyalty and retention programs.
  • Identify areas for improvement and improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Research and shop the competition to ensure alignment with market conditions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum three years' experience as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager in multi-family housing or a similar industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college education, CAM or ARM certification preferred.
  • Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation preferred for LIHTC communities.
  • Valid driver's license required.
