Job Summary:

The Director of Admissions Communications Strategy will lead the development and execution of comprehensive communications and marketing initiatives to support the university's enrollment goals for new undergraduate students. This role will oversee the creation and dissemination of strategic communications plans, ensuring consistent and persuasive messaging across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement large-scale communications plans to meet enrollment goals
Collaborate with admissions leadership and SEMSS colleagues to ensure consistent messaging
Oversee the execution of written communications to prospective and admitted students
Serve as primary Admissions communications liaison for campus constituents
Create and schedule regular communication plans and calendars for prospective students
Collaborate with Student Financial Services and Orientation and Transition Programs to ensure strategic and timely communications
Work with third-party vendors to ensure consistent messaging

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, or related field
Five years of experience in communications or a similar field, preferably in higher education
Experience in admissions communications, enrollment management, or similar field within higher education
Demonstrated success developing and implementing strategic communications plans
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Experience managing a team of diverse staff to achieve enrollment goals
Ability to respond to deadlines and pressures of deadlines and challenging situations
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail
Ability to take initiative when working independently and work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Communications or related field
Experience overseeing communications within Slate CRM

This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work arrangement.
