Mechanical Maintenance Technician

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Mid-Atlantic, you will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of various machinery, tools, and equipment. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our production systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, adjust, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
  • Utilize hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
  • Replace defective components and electrical parts
  • Conduct general repairs on facility structures

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is necessary
  • Certification from a technical or vocational institution is advantageous
  • Strong mechanical skills and proficiency with hand and power tools

Physical Demands:

  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and stand for prolonged periods
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions
