About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Sweeping Corporation of America. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our sweepers and other heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and sweepers, including hydraulic, electrical, and engine diagnosis and repair.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on chassis and up-fit components, including fluid and filter changes, grease components, and inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with air brakes, ABS, and other critical systems.
  • Assist other mechanics with advanced repairs and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and participate in quality control initiatives.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong background in heavy truck repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Valid driver's license and CDL preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
