We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic Specialist to join our team at DXP Enterprises. As a key member of our Industrial Services group, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy industrial process rotating equipment, primarily pumps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, inspect, and evaluate the condition of equipment using micrometers and dial indicators
- Compile and write thorough job inspection reports
- Perform work on gearboxes, compressors, and other process rotating equipment
- Align pumps and motors
- Rebuild mechanical seals
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of fits and clearances
- Adept at reading micrometers and other measuring instruments
- Good math skills
- Accomplished at writing inspection reports
- High school degree or equivalent
- At least 4 years of experience in a related field
