Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic Specialist to join our team at DXP Enterprises. As a key member of our Industrial Services group, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy industrial process rotating equipment, primarily pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, inspect, and evaluate the condition of equipment using micrometers and dial indicators
  • Compile and write thorough job inspection reports
  • Perform work on gearboxes, compressors, and other process rotating equipment
  • Align pumps and motors
  • Rebuild mechanical seals

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of fits and clearances
  • Adept at reading micrometers and other measuring instruments
  • Good math skills
  • Accomplished at writing inspection reports
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of experience in a related field
