Job Summary:

The Cassia Community is seeking a highly motivated and creative Activities Director to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning and executing engaging activities for our residents, ensuring their fullness of life is fostered in a spirit of Christ's love.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team of activities professionals to deliver exceptional resident experiences.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program, ensuring meaningful activities are scheduled and executed seven days a week.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor activities accordingly.
  • Display a genuine concern for residents' well-being, and demonstrate a positive attitude in all interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission and goals of the Cassia Community.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience working in an assisted living, independent, or long-term care environment.
  • Desire to work with older adults and a willingness to learn and adapt to their needs.
  • Artistic and musical skills are a plus, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Good customer service instincts and a commitment to delivering exceptional resident experiences.
