Faculty Position in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and UVA Health Children's is seeking a faculty member to join our growing program in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. This is a clinician or clinician-scientist track position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank.
Responsibilities- Join an outstanding group of clinicians, clinician-scientists and staff dedicated to the wellness of children and with deep expertise in caring for those with cancer and blood disorders.
- Participate in the design and conduct of investigator-initiated clinical trials directed toward improving health outcomes for children with cancer and blood disorders.
- Work with scientific teams in a "lab-to-bedside-to-lab" workflow and integrate our clinical enterprise with research opportunities.
- MD or DO degree and board-certification/board-eligibility in Hematology-Oncology.
- Direct experience in the design and conduct of investigator-initiated clinical trials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, clinical excellence, curiosity, and interpersonal skills.
- A highly collaborative environment at the University of Virginia, UVA Health and the number 1 ranked children's hospital in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
