Job Summary:

The Department of Medicine at the University of Virginia is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an Open Rank, Open Track faculty position in Hematology/Oncology. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead an independent clinical research program in Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within the Cancer Center
  • Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students in Hematology/Oncology
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance translational research opportunities and resources

Requirements:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Board-eligibility or Board-certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine is encouraged
