The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and UVA Health Children's is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a faculty position on a clinician or clinician-scientist track at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank.
Key Responsibilities- Join a collaborative environment with a team of clinicians, clinician-scientists, and staff dedicated to the wellness of children.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the pediatric hematology/oncology program.
- Participate in the design and conduct of investigator-initiated clinical trials to improve health outcomes for children with cancer and blood disorders.
- Collaborate with scientific teams in a lab-to-bedside-to-lab workflow and integrate clinical enterprise with research opportunities.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Hematology-Oncology.
- A highly collaborative environment with a team of experts in pediatric hematology/oncology.
- Diverse opportunities for clinic-translational research in partnership with our NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
