About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hematology Oncology team at Children's Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate patient care, utilizing clinical judgment and evidence-based guidelines to assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Ensure patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights, and guest relations.
  • Oversee care delivered by patient care teams, coordinate plans of care, and provide education and learning opportunities for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement plans of care that promote patient well-being and achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a pediatric hematology oncology setting.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
  • BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association.
  • PALS/NRP/ACLS certification (department-specific requirements).
  • PACES certification within 6 months of hire.
