Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Hotel Resource. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently follow hotel standards and procedures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and quality in guest rooms.
  • Attend safety meetings and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to attendance policy and report to workstation at scheduled start time.
  • Propose ideas to improve services, systems, and procedures.
  • Display a positive and friendly attitude to all guests and fellow team members.
  • Maintain an outstanding personal appearance at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures of the housekeeping department and hotel.
  • Inventory and clean carts at the end of each shift.
  • Document any missing items immediately to your supervisor.
  • Keep all work areas organized at all times.
  • Completely clean all rooms on your assigned list within your scheduled shift.
  • Adhere to the Do Not Disturb door hangers and document times throughout the day.
  • Strive to accommodate guests' schedules.
  • Complete special projects as delegated by management.
  • Offer assistance to guests as needed.
  • Turn in all lost and found items.
  • Report any maintenance-related issues to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Assist all other team members when necessary.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a field related to this position.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to make decisions that are in the best interests of the company.
  • Ability to be flexible and easily adapt to change.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
