Position Overview


The Public Area Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's public spaces. This role involves thorough cleaning of designated areas, maintaining the hotel's lobby functions including coffee service and evening concierge events, preparing meeting rooms, delivering requested items to guest rooms, and operating the shuttle van as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • A valid driver's license for the state and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.

  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
  • Quick and accurate decision-making skills in evaluating options.
  • Capability to perform well in high-pressure and stressful situations.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure under challenging circumstances.
Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to HCW Management Consultants LLC standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Daily cleaning and buffing of floors in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Shampooing carpets in public areas as per hotel guidelines.
  • Cleaning and maintaining furniture as required.
  • Regular upkeep of public restrooms and addressing maintenance needs throughout the shift.
  • Assist guests with luggage in a friendly and efficient manner during check-in and check-out.
  • Practice safe working habits to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues.
  • Manage lost and found items according to company standards.
  • Return all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office at the end of the shift.
  • Complete daily task checklists and submit them to the supervisor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
