Job Overview
The responsibilities of the Housekeeping House Attendant encompass the cleaning and upkeep of the hotel's public spaces, executing thorough cleaning of designated areas, organizing and maintaining complimentary lobby services such as coffee stations and evening concierge events, preparing meeting rooms, delivering requested items to guest accommodations, and operating the shuttle van as necessary (specific to the property).

Qualifications & Experience
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in a hotel or similar environment.
  • A valid driver's license for the relevant State and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required (specific to the property).
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
  • Capable of assessing and choosing among various courses of action swiftly and accurately.
  • Ability to perform well in high-pressure, stressful situations.
  • Maintain composure and objectivity when under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to HCW Hospitality standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Daily cleaning and buffing of floors in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Shampooing carpets in public areas as per hotel guidelines.
  • Shampooing furniture as required based on hotel standards.
  • Regular maintenance and cleaning of public restrooms throughout the shift.
  • Assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Practice safe working habits to ensure the safety of guests, fellow associates, and oneself.
  • Manage items designated for 'Lost and Found' in line with HCW Hospitality standards.
  • At the conclusion of the shift, return all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office.
  • Complete the daily assignment checklist and submit it to the supervisor at the end of the day.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
