Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Credit Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing credit accounts, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage credit accounts, following established guidelines and procedures.
  • Process customer payments, reconcile outstanding balances, and prepare periodic reports on accounts receivable and past due status.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
  • Approve order ticket releases for credit accounts on restriction.
  • Send out lien notices and certified letters as necessary.
  • Provide sign-off on commercial and residential lien waivers.
  • Update and summarize receivables.
  • Notify and resolve uncollected CODs and process NSF checks.
  • Research and resolve credit card chargebacks.
  • Approve tax-exempt forms and issue tax credits.
  • Process payments for open customer accounts.
  • Engage in collection activities, including sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating repayment terms, and deciding on referring accounts to collection agencies or writing off accounts receivable.

Requirements:

  • Credit experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Strong data entry skills and basic math functions.

$15.00 - $25.39

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
