Atlantic Staffing Consultants is seeking candidates for a Warehouse Operations Associate position. This role is essential in supporting our logistics and production efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the shipping and receiving processes, including unloading and verifying incoming materials.
  • Prepare customer orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and organizing items for delivery.
  • Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to established standards.
  • Open and inspect various containers to ensure proper handling of materials.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by tracking stock locations, printing requests, and recording quantities of materials received and distributed.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts as needed.
  • Ensure a safe and tidy work environment by keeping workstations and storage areas organized.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping and dusting.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Assist in loading raw materials onto production lines.
  • Stack large containers onto pallets as required.
  • Utilize appropriate safety equipment during all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
  • Dependable and reliable work ethic.
  • Experience with inventory management, equipment maintenance, data entry, and basic computer skills may be necessary.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Self-motivated and diligent worker.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 55 lbs.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to wear a full-face respirator when necessary.

Work Schedule and Compensation:
- Monday to Thursday with 4 / 10 hour shifts
- Enjoy 3-day weekends
- Typical hours are from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Temp-to-hire opportunity for qualified candidates after 90 days
- Starting pay is $13.00 per hour, with a $1.00 raise upon transitioning to full-time after 90 days.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including bonuses and 401k options upon full-time employment.
