Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in a warehouse environment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
  • Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting
  • Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
