Job Overview

Rancho Physical Therapy is actively looking for a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to enhance our professional team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, the chosen candidate will play a crucial role in providing therapy support to designated patients. In compliance with State regulations, the responsibilities encompass contributing to treatment strategies, performing routine tasks, documenting patient progress, and modifying specific therapies in accordance with patient needs and the treatment plans established by the supervising physical therapist.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains current knowledge of the organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Accurately assesses and interprets relevant information and data.
  • Submits timely written documentation in line with facility and departmental standards.
  • Advances professional and clinical knowledge through ongoing education and professional affiliations.
  • Engages with patients, families, and clinical colleagues regarding modifications to treatment plans.
  • Provides necessary documentation for insurance compliance, adhering to licensing, certification, regulatory, and reimbursement standards.
  • Utilizes contemporary research findings to improve functionality, alleviate symptoms, and prevent injuries.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in hands-on techniques involving therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities.
  • Willingness to work in various assigned locations as operational needs dictate.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid license or relevant certification for practice
  • Completion of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program in Physical Therapy Assistance
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Maintains good standing with all regulatory and licensing authorities.
  • Holds a current CPR certification.
