Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated, full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a dynamic environment. This role offers the chance to work alongside a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students.
Responsibilities- Support the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, to ensure effective communication and language development.
- Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and implementation of individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy activities to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the therapy team to ensure a consistent approach to student development and progress.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on student progress and therapy strategies to drive continuous improvement.
- California SLPA License or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in educational or clinical settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and the therapy team.
