Job Summary

Arrow International is seeking a highly skilled Benefits Manager to join our team at our global headquarters in Brooklyn, Ohio. As a key member of our Total Rewards team, you will be responsible for supporting various initiatives and optimizing engagement, understanding, and utilization of benefit programs across the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the annual open enrollment process and provide coaching and support to employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, and status changes.
  • Develop and maintain positive partnerships with external vendors and ensure prompt and accurate compliance for all benefits programs.
  • Build and maintain clear, informative benefits communications to ensure employees fully understand and engage with the benefits and programs offered.
  • Process and administer leave-of-absence requests, including medical, personal, disability, and FMLA.
  • Serve as the liaison with vendors and brokers to resolve employee claims and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local policies, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of benefit administration experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Knowledgeable of policies, laws, and regulations related to employee benefits administration, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, Medicare, wellness plans, etc.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Paylocity a plus, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to interpret and apply Federal, State, and Local policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing, note-taking, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems, complex data, and information and identify alternative solutions.

  • The noise level in the work environment is low and work is conducted in an office environment.
  • May be required to sit for long and/or extended periods of time.
