About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Employee Benefits Sales Representative to join our team at Sun Life Financial. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our robust portfolio of employee benefits products to top employers across the nation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell employee benefits products through established networks of insurance brokers, third-party administrators, and consultants
  • Build and establish relationships with key sources to market our portfolio of products to top employers
  • Construct and maintain a business plan for your designated territory based on sales and strategic initiatives
  • Call on existing and potential customers to prospect new customers and develop a book of business
  • Meet and exceed seasonal targets and personal sales goals
  • Develop internal relationships with underwriters, distribution specialists, and internal support partners to create specialized plans for clients
Requirements
  • Group benefit sales industry experience
  • Currently licensed with a state-required Life and Health agent license
  • Passion to succeed and build a book of business
  • Winning attitude and interest in a career with professional growth and high income potential
  • Drive, self-motivation, consultative nature, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people
  • Degree from a four-year college or university or requisite work experience
  • Strong networking and relationship management skills
  • Excellent listening, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
