About the Role

At Sun Life, we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Employee Benefits Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our robust portfolio of employee benefits products to top employers across the nation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell employee benefits products through established networks of insurance brokers, third-party administrators, and consultants.
  • Build and establish relationships with key sources to market our portfolio of products to top employers.
  • Construct and maintain a business plan for your designated territory based on sales and strategic initiatives.
  • Call on existing and potential customers to prospect new customers and develop a book of business.
  • Meet and exceed seasonal targets and personal sales goals.
  • Develop internal relationships with underwriters, distribution specialists, and internal support partners to create specialized plans to meet client needs.
Requirements
  • Group benefit sales industry experience.
  • Currently licensed with state-required Life and Health agent license.
  • Passion to succeed and test yourself while building a book of business.
  • Winning attitude and interest in a career that offers professional growth and high income potential.
  • Drive, self-motivation, consultative nature, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people.
  • Degree from a four-year college or university, or requisite work experience.
  • Strong networking and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
