Ideal Candidate Profile

The Mixing Operator is tasked with operating production machinery in accordance with established protocols, accurately blending raw materials into liquid photopolymer to fulfill production timelines. This role encompasses responsibility for the associated equipment and tools, emphasizing ownership of production quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate resins, coatings, cleaning agents, and emulsions with precision and attention to detail.
  • Determine material requirements through mathematical computations.
  • Utilize fork trucks to gather materials essential for production.
  • Manage the unloading of tank trucks into storage containers.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations, promoting compliance among peers.
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Maintain accurate raw material inventories through regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure proper storage and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • Initiate and monitor polymerization processes with various endpoints.
  • Conduct viscosity assessments to ascertain cap points.
  • Utilize quality control data to adjust ingredients for meeting product specifications.
  • Actively engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Proficient in operating mixers, pressure and vacuum pumps, and various industrial scales.
  • Capable of comprehending and executing multiple batch formulations, demonstrating strong mathematical skills.
  • Familiar with PC-controlled batching systems and proficient in data entry using EXCEL.
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs frequently and handle materials in large containers safely.
  • Comfortable with climbing stairs and working at elevated heights.
  • Must be able to wear respiratory protection as required.
  • Active participation in spill response teams is essential.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to varying schedules is required.
  • Capable of instructing colleagues in skills and procedures.
  • Strong computer literacy is necessary.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities are essential.

Language Proficiency:
