Ideal Candidate Profile

The Production Mixing Specialist will operate production machinery according to established guidelines, ensuring precise mixing of raw materials into liquid photopolymer to adhere to production timelines. You will take ownership of the equipment and tools, ensuring product quality and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce resins, coatings, cleaning solutions, and emulsions with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Calculate material requirements for production tasks using mathematical methods.
  • Operate forklifts to gather necessary materials for production.
  • Manage the unloading of tank trucks into storage containers.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols, promoting compliance among peers.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Maintain accurate raw material inventory through regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure proper storage and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • Initiate and monitor polymerization processes with varying endpoints.
  • Conduct viscosity assessments to determine cap points.
  • Utilize quality control data to adjust ingredients for optimal product specifications.
  • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Proficient in operating mixers, pressure and vacuum pumps, and various industrial scales.
  • Capable of comprehending and executing multiple batch formulations with strong mathematical abilities.
  • Familiar with PC-controlled batching systems and proficient in Excel for data entry.
  • Able to lift 55 lbs regularly and safely manage materials in large containers.
  • Comfortable with climbing stairs and working at elevated heights.
  • Must be able to wear respiratory protection.
  • Willingness to be part of the spill response team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Ability to instruct colleagues on skills and procedures.
  • Competent in computer usage and capable of multitasking with excellent time management.
