Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Golden Corral. As a Food Preparation Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food products to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and present a variety of food products, including fruits and vegetables, according to Golden Corral's product specifications and recipes.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a standard inventory of prep items according to the Prep Production Guide and the Display Cooking Prep Production Guide, and update the guides as directed by management.
  • Quality Control: Ensure optimum yield of products through the product cycle, and label, date, and rotate all bulk produce and prepped items.
  • Cleanliness: Clean, maintain, and organize the prep area, including coolers, equipment, and dry storage, and perform duty roster and ensure cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
  • Guest Service: Perform administrative tasks and help guests during meal periods.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in food preparation or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions:

This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $10.00 per hour.
