Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at K-VA-T Food Stores Inc. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and producing high-quality food products to meet or exceed customer and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Production: Bake bread, rolls, pies, and cookies according to manual guidelines.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Inventory Management: Complete daily production sheets and break out of frozen product.
  • Stock Management: Put up stock and assist in maintaining good dates on all products.
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service.
  • Teamwork: Assist in ordering products and supplies needed for daily operations and maintain a positive attitude to create a friendly and fun working environment.
  • Food Safety: Follow the company Food Safety program and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience: Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
  • Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
  • Attendance: Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.
