Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in payroll management to join our team at LaunchPad Home Group Inc. In this hybrid role, you will split your time between human resources functions, supporting internal clients, assisting with acquisitions, and running payroll processes. Expertise in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) systems is essential, as you will be responsible for managing payroll through this platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all employees' payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Administer payroll processing via UKG, including data input, auditing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to run reports efficiently and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to payroll.
  • Process salary changes, bonuses, commissions, and other pay adjustments.
  • Prepare and review payroll reports and ensure proper tax filings.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding paychecks, taxes, and deductions.

Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities

  • Assist with HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Support employee relations efforts, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts as needed.
  • Administer benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and employee communication.
  • Assist with compliance efforts related to labor laws, workplace regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate and support HR programs such as performance management, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR and payroll processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a related HR role.
    • Proven payroll experience, specifically with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Experience with other HR software platforms.
  • Experience in a hybrid work environment.
  • Experience with acquisitions.
  • Experience with supporting outside and internal clients.

Work Environment

This role is hybrid, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. The in-office schedule will be determined based on business needs.
