Job Overview

At BuildASign, we're passionate about fostering a culture of innovation and growth. As a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our HR team with various administrative tasks, programs, and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for daily HR operations and programs, including engagement surveys, performance reviews, and merit cycles.
  • Assist with employee relations, including attendance and FMLA tracking, maintaining employee records, and addressing employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain reports for HR, including people analytics, and provide data requests to other departments.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including leading orientations.
  • Support the administration of the 401(k) plan and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Help organize training sessions and maintain training certificates.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies; assist with audits and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (docs, sheets, forms).
  • Flexibility to provide HR coverage onsite at our Manufacturing facility.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required.
