Job Summary:
Join our team as a Pastry Associate at Festival Foods, where you will play a vital role in our bakery operations, ensuring that every customer receives top-notch service. You will assist customers in selecting the ideal bakery products, handle special orders with care, and present our offerings in an appealing manner. Your creativity will contribute to enhancing both special occasions and everyday moments.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:
Deliver outstanding service to our customers.
Assist customers in finding specific bakery items and accommodating special requests.
Accurately take orders for cakes and custom bakery products.
Respond to phone inquiries courteously, providing necessary information and assistance.

Merchandising:
Package and price items while maintaining quality and minimizing waste.
Restock bakery products to ensure availability and attractive displays.
Monitor stock levels and promptly replenish products to meet customer demand.

Food Safety:
Ensure product freshness and presentation by rotating stock and removing outdated items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, shelves, and the sales floor.
Adhere to food safety protocols and keep accurate records.
Uphold quality standards to meet product expectations promptly.

Flexibility:
Perform additional duties as needed to support the team.

Commitment:

Regular, timely attendance in accordance with the work schedule, providing adequate notice for any absences.

Standing for extended periods (approximately 80% of the time)
Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally (about 20% of the time)
Frequent proximity to moving machinery (around 50% of the time)

Work Schedule:

This position offers hourly pay with flexibility for both part-time and full-time hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on availability.
