Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our bakery team, contributing to the creation of beautifully decorated bakery items that enhance our guests' special occasions.

Utilizes creative skills to craft visually stunning and uniquely designed bakery products.

Bakery Artists leverage their artistic flair and imagination to leave lasting impressions through our bakery offerings.


Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Decorates and finishes a variety of baked goods including cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and pastries.

- Enhances sales by producing visually appealing products.

- Surpasses customer expectations by fulfilling special orders with unique and creative designs that align with customer specifications.

- Minimizes waste by accurately measuring and utilizing the right amount of icing and materials.

- Manages the display of decorated items, ensuring freshness and quality.

- Identifies low-stock items and replenishes as necessary.

- Plans production tasks to maintain adequate back stock for display needs.

- Ensures proper rotation of products to maintain freshness and quality standards.

- Provides exceptional service to all customers.

- Assists customers in locating desired items.

- Takes special orders for cakes and collaborates with customers to visualize their requests.

- Answers phone inquiries and assists customers with professionalism.

- Maintains adequate supplies in the decorating area by restocking as needed.

- Collaborates with team members to achieve departmental goals.

- Contributes to the cleanliness and organization of the workspace.

- Assists Bakery Artist II as required.

- Maintains food safety logs and ensures compliance with quality standards.

- Adheres to the work schedule with regular attendance and provides notice for absences.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

WORK SCHEDULE
This position is hourly.

The work schedule typically includes mornings, afternoons, and weekends, with the flexibility to work evenings and holidays as needed.
