Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Bakery Department team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the Bakery Department, and adhere to company standards for cleanliness and safety.
  • Assist with sales and inventory management, including restocking shelves, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge in the Bakery Department, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including special projects and tasks.
Requirements
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Knowledge of bakery products and ingredients.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
