Assistant Restaurant Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at GrillMarx Restaurant Group. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the restaurant industry and will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless execution of our business strategy.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance employee performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to design and execute marketing strategies that drive sales and profitability.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and presentation, meeting our brand's culinary excellence.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring optimal levels to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, upholding our brand's commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new employees, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Operations Manager or similar position, with a strong track record of success in the restaurant industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus.
