Behavioral Specialist

Lifetime Assistance is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will provide psychological services to our Day Services participants, including consultation and clinical supervision. You will also function as an Interdisciplinary Team (IT) member, ensuring compliance with all applicable program standards.
Key Responsibilities- Psychological Assessments: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments on all program participants as needed, following the established format.
- Objective Development: Collaborate with IT members to develop objectives and outcomes that address psychological problems or needs, and maximize assets or strengths for inclusion in the individuals' habilitation plan.
- Psychological Services: Provide or assure psychological services to achieve Day Hab objectives, including developing new or strengthening existing adaptive behaviors, modifying maladaptive behaviors, and providing consultation to program participants, families, and other IT members.
- Role Modeling: Serve as a role model for individuals, interacting with others in a way that assists individuals in developing behaviors, skills, and attitudes necessary for successful community living.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation, and participate in all Service Plan Reviews and Team Meetings as requested.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly staff meetings and perform all other duties relevant to the position, notifying the Community Integration Coordinator of any obstacles to achieving responsibilities.
To be considered for this role, you must be a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) with a master's degree from an accredited program in a field of psychology, and at least one year of experience in the assessment of developmentally disabled individuals and development of behavioral programs for the developmentally disabled.
