$18.06-$22.26 per hour

Work Schedule

35 hours per week; Monday-Friday day shift; follows school calendar

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver essential care to students, ensuring their health, safety, and personal needs are met.

- Provide behavioral assistance to students as designated.

- Follow guidance from the Behavior Therapist, Behavior Therapy Supervisor, Lead Crisis Intervention Specialist, or Behavior Department Manager on a daily basis.

- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to conduct initial and ongoing assessments for each student, establishing suitable therapeutic objectives and program suggestions.

- Maintain certification in all agency-approved crisis intervention methodologies.

- Stay updated in the field of Behavior Analysis by engaging in departmental meetings and continuous professional growth.

- Relay pertinent information and observations regarding students' progress, behavior, needs, and overall well-being to the Behavior Therapist.

- Support the application of evidence-based practices throughout the organization.

- Assist classrooms during behavioral emergencies, which may involve executing emergency physical interventions.

- Aid Behavior Therapists with data collection, entry, and organization.

- Conduct fidelity checks to assist Behavior Therapists in ensuring accurate implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans, reporting any issues.

- Help Behavior Therapists prepare data sheets to monitor students' Behavior Intervention Plans and assist in training classroom teams on data sheet usage.

- Collaborate with classroom teams to perform preference assessments.

- Work across all programs in any assigned classroom as necessary, responding appropriately to various needs.

- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Minimum Qualifications

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and/or training with students with developmental delays or a comparable combination of education and experience.

- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English, including the ability to interpret documents such as safety guidelines and policy manuals.
