North America Distribution Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled North America Distribution Leader to join our team at QBE The Americas. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our distribution strategy across North America, driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution strategy for North America, aligned with our business objectives.
- Lead a team of senior professionals to manage and develop our relationships with major trading partners, brokers, and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of our distribution strategy.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to our Commercial Insurance and Specialty leaders to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage and improve our approach for tenders and pitches for North America, in collaboration with relevant business leaders and teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including customers, brokers, industry bodies, business partners, reinsurers, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure distribution activity is aligned to our strategy, and compliant with relevant regulation.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in distribution and business development.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability through effective distribution strategies.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of senior professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Sound commercial judgment and entrepreneurial focus, with the ability to identify and manage risk.
- Preferred experience in managing and developing broker and client relationships, as well as contributing to the management of a complex financial services business at board level.
We offer a competitive salary range of $217,000 - $325,000, depending on education, experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and wellbeing benefits, as well as a 401(k) contribution and paid-time off program.
