Procurement Intern Job Description

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Intern to support the procurement team in managing tasks, data, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles and be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing tasks and data for the procurement team, including vendor relationships, pricing, and quality reviews.
  • Analyze data for RFPs and assist in sourcing new products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organization needs for products and services.
  • Maintain records of vendor contracts, agreements, and pricing.
  • Assist in maintaining ImageFIRST's inventory master files and updating procurement data on the Procurement intranet hub.
  • Facilitate effective communication with the field and assist with implementing procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost savings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business or related field.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and related functions (VLookups and Pivot Tables).
  • Experience with data analytics strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
