System Stroke Medical Director Opportunity

The University of Louisville Health System is seeking a highly skilled System Stroke Medical Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures, as well as providing guidance and leadership on performance improvement and measurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and leadership on performance improvement and measurement
  • Collaborate with the stroke service team to monitor and execute quality and safety processes
  • Facilitate communication between providers and staff
  • Manage Stroke Registry and Epidemiology data collection

Requirements:

  • ABPN certification in Neurology and Vascular Neurology
  • Eligible to be state licensed in the United States
  • US residency or fellowship training
  • Outstanding communication, bedside manner, and professionalism
  • A strong work ethic and capability for effective collaboration
