System Stroke Medical Director

The University of Louisville Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Stroke Medical Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality stroke care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve stroke care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance operational planning, budgeting, and equipment selection
- Provide leadership and guidance on performance improvement and measurement initiatives
- Monitor and assist with the execution of quality and safety processes
- Facilitate communication between providers and staff to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
- Board certification in Neurology and Vascular Neurology
- Eligibility for state licensure in the United States
- US residency or fellowship training in Neurology and Vascular Neurology
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
