We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

The estimated salary for this role is $73,000 - $94,700 per year, based on experience.

About the Role

This is a unique chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and staff. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and supervising our nursing team to deliver high-quality care.

  • Supports, supervises, and evaluates staff new to a clinical setting during their first 90 to 180 days on the unit.
  • Acts within the nurse-patient, nurse-nurse, and nurse-system spheres.
  • Facilitates a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach in the provision of health care, within a specialty area.

This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
  • An Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Current certification in area of specialty (i.e., CEN, CCRN) upon hire
  • 3 years Registered Nursing experience in area of specialty
  • 2 years Clinical Leadership responsibility
