A clinical leader is sought for the position of Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist at our esteemed Anchorage, Alaska-based medical center. This dynamic role offers a stimulating work environment where professionals can make a meaningful difference in patient care.

Clinical Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support, supervise, and evaluate staff members new to a clinical setting during their initial 90 to 180 days on the unit. They will also facilitate collaborative approaches in healthcare delivery within specialty areas, promoting excellence through the implementation of clinical standards and competency standards for staff members.

Skills and Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must possess a Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). A current Alaska Registered Nurse License and National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire are also mandatory. At least three years of registered nursing experience in the area of specialty and two years of clinical leadership responsibility are required. Preferably, CNS certification in the area of specialty upon hire would be beneficial.

Compensation
This full-time position comes with a competitive salary ranging from $58.85 to $94.73 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
