About the Job

  • This role supports and evaluates new staff members during their first 90-180 days on the unit.
  • The Clinical Nurse Specialist will act within the nurse-patient, nurse-nurse, and nurse-system spheres.
  • The successful candidate will facilitate a multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare provision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement clinical standards of practice and establish competency standards for staff.
  • Provide resources to assess patient outcomes and function as a clinical resource.
  • Support clinical rounds with the healthcare team and work collaboratively with physicians.
